Complete Renovation, Extensions & Landscaping | Stock, Essex
Located in the sought-after village of Stock, Essex, this project involved the complete transformation of a traditional property into a contemporary family home. The works combined a full internal renovation with substantial side and rear extensions, bespoke interiors, and comprehensive landscaping.
Full Internal Renovation
The property was extensively refurbished throughout, with the internal layout carefully reconfigured to create a brighter, more spacious, and highly functional home. Bespoke joinery, high-quality finishes, and a carefully selected material palette bring a cohesive and timeless feel to every space.
Side & Rear Extensions
The addition of side and rear extensions significantly increased the property’s footprint, creating a generous open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space. Large-format glazing and bi-fold doors flood the interior with natural light while creating a seamless connection between the home and garden.
Kitchen & Living Space
At the centre of the home is a bespoke kitchen featuring classic shaker-style cabinetry, a generous central island, and premium appliances. The kitchen flows naturally into the adjoining dining and living areas, creating a versatile space designed for both everyday family life and entertaining.
Interior Detailing
Every aspect of the interior was considered to achieve a refined and cohesive finish, including:
- Herringbone flooring throughout key living areas
- Bespoke built-in cabinetry and seating
- Contemporary lighting and clean-lined finishes
- A carefully considered colour palette for a timeless aesthetic
Landscaping & External Works
The exterior was completely redesigned to complement the new extensions and create a natural continuation of the home’s living spaces. The works included:
- New patio and outdoor seating areas
- Low-maintenance artificial lawn
- New boundary fencing and planting
- Bespoke outbuilding providing additional flexible space
The Result
The completed home successfully combines traditional character with contemporary design, creating a spacious and welcoming environment for modern family living. Through thoughtful extensions, a complete internal renovation, and carefully considered landscaping, the property has been transformed into a light-filled, highly functional, and beautifully finished home.
